Personalised crested sliotars: how club balls are made and how to order
Some of the best-loved balls we make never see a championship match. They are the personalised crested sliotars — real, hand-stitched leather balls printed in full colour with a club crest, a school emblem or a sponsor’s logo — and they have become the go-to presentation piece for clubs all over Ireland.
What clubs use them for
- County final and captain’s presentations — a crested match ball beats another framed jersey
- Team awards and player-of-the-year nights
- Fundraisers and club shop stock — crested balls sell at a margin plain ones never will
- Sponsor match days — the sponsor’s logo on the actual match ball
- School graduations and Cumann na mBunscol finals
How it works
Simple, and you approve everything before we print:
1. Send us your crest — WhatsApp or email a decent image of the club crest or logo.
2. Approve a digital proof — we mock it up on the ball and send it to you. Nothing prints until you say yes.
3. We print and dispatch — full-colour print on the same hand-stitched, real-leather balls we sell under our own name, in hurling and camogie sizes 4 and 5. Wall balls can be crested too.
Batches run from small presentation sets to full club orders. Personalised orders take longer than stock balls — ask for the current turnaround when you get your quote.
What they cost
It depends on the ball, the batch size and the print, so we quote each order — same day, invoice included for the treasurer. Bigger batches work out cheaper per ball.
